Two small volumes tightly bound in brick red cloth with title and editor stamped in bright gilt on the front covers and spines. All edges tinted red and very smooth. The corners are lightly worn. Spine caps slightly worn with some fraying. a previous owner has left the feather from a goldfinch between p.110 and 111 in Vol. I leaving a transfer shadow on the pages near the gutter and p. 110 was creased. Illustrated with etchings. Name of previous owner neatly penned on the ffes. Otherwise, both volumes are clean with ivoried unmarked pages. 5" x 6.75". Vol.I-207 pp.; Vol.II-210 pp.
