First Thus. 15 by 19 inches, rolled with minor staining BUT only 10% of Postmasters in the United States were women in the 1890's, and this certificate appointing Maggie Egan to that position in 1896 is RARE, Not to mention this was a small California town thats was founded in 1860 when copper was discovered, went through several boom and busts related to an uptick in the demand for copper during wartime, but in 1896 was hardly booming.
