A good sound copy. BL & Oxford only on Copac. Written 'not to attack persons, but to oppose false principles' in political struggles, initially over increases in the Poor Rate, in the Barlow Street, Marylebone Vestry, c.1834-38. The author believes the democracy in Marylebone bodes ill for increased democracy in the country.
