Mr. Rudge supervised the setting of the type for this volume which was printed at Yale University Press. This publication was limited to 526 copies this volume is #51. The oat colored cloth boards with black lettering show some toning, foxing. There is also an indentation to the bottom front board. A few pages have some light smudges but are otherwise clean and bright. The pages are unpaginated but contain both text and black-and-white images of the artists included in this survey. The gutters for this volume are intact and the binding solid and square. Inscribed by Author(s).
