The only example we are aware of of this rare rubber stamp work by Willy Scholte, where a woman's clenched hand becomes a fat buisnessman's face, with shirt and tie beneath. Willy Scholte was one of very few women working at the Stempelplaats factory in the late 1970s and the early 1980s. As a keen autodidact, she became involved in the avant-garde activities at Stempelplaats and drew inspiration from the likes of Ulises Carrion and Aart van Barneveld. This is the work of a talented mail artist who is ripe for rediscovery. Condition: Fine.
