Très bel album de percaline rouge, titre doré sur le 1° plat, au format In-8 à l'italienne, servant à collecter 200 petites cartes en chromo couleur reproduisant des blasons et armoiries : d'Evéques anglais, de grandes familles anglaises, d'ordres de chevaleries anglais, russes, danois, turcs, italiens, autrichiens, japonais, de compagnons, de collèges, de sceaux de villes etc. L'album est parfaitement complet des 200 petites cartes au format 3, 5 cms X 6, 5 cms, toutes en parfait état, qu'il était destiné à recevoir et que l'on trouvait dans les paquets de cigarettes de la marque WILLS'S. Les cartes ne sont pas collées, chacune est glissée sous une petite fenêtre prévue à cet effet. au dos de chacune figure une notice explicative. Un petit manque de papier à une page de l'album sans aucune gravité.

Embossed dec. cloth album, with sixteen leaves, each with pre-cut holders for eight small format cigarette cards. 127 of 128 spaces are filled with British tobacco cards from the early 20th century, mostly from Wills's and Player's, but also including Ogden's. Cards are bright and colorful. Some wear to exterior of album. Nice examples of color printing.

Wills, Bristol & London) issued by the Imperial Tobacco Co. of Great Britain and Ireland Ltd. One of the first companies to include cigarette cards. Full color, with text on the verso. Scenes pictured include: Ottawa, Quebec, Montreal, Lake Muskoka, Shawatlan's Lake and Falls, Kootenay Reservation, Lake Louise, York Redoubt, Fort William, as well as timber raft, threshing wheat, grain elevators, Rockies, Three Sisters, Moose Hunting. Card size 2 7/8 x 1 3/8". Condition vg+.
