No Binding. Condition: Good. Original publisher's beige paper brochure; one leaf folded in thirds. No date, circa 1950s. 6 1/4" x 9." Printed on all six panels (three panels printed front and back), complete. A few black-and-white illustrations for advertisements, complete. Ads promote Sherman Clay and shows for the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Marian Anderson, Anna Russell, and the Azuma Kabuki Dancers and Musicians. Brochure is very clean and intact except for a center horizontal fold line and some wrinkling. A Good copy. Program for a multi-act performance by Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo (also, Monte-Carlo), as directed by Sergei J. Denham (1876-1970), a Russian-American businessman. Denham's Ballet Russe was formed in the mid-1930s after the dissolution of Wassily de Basil's Ballets Russes. Some of the original members of De Basil's Ballets Russes formed the foundation of Denham's Ballet Russe. Denham directed the new Ballet Russe until his passing in 1970. The program lists the acts or different musical performances of the ballet, "Harold in Italy," "Pas de Deux Classique (Black Swan)," "The Mute Wife," and "Capriccio Espagnol.".
