The methods of treatment are partly chemical, partly magnetical, even such modern ideas as suggestion and other mental treatments are proposed." (Duveen 622). - Sebastian Wirdig war Arzt und Professor in Rostock. Er glaubte an 2 Arten von Geistern. Die Geister des menschlichen Körpers, die sich mit den Geistern der Luft (Wärme und Kälte) verbinden, und somit Krankheiten hervorrufen würden. Daneben entwickelt er auch eine Theorie des Magnetsimus. Magnetische Anziehung besteht nicht nur zwischen himmlischen und weltlichen Körpern, sondern auch zwischen allen lebenden Dingen. Die gesamte Welt steht so stark unter dem Einfluß des Magnetismus, daß dieser in der Lage ist das Leben zu bewahren und auch der Tod eine Konsequenz des Magnetismus ist. - Es fehlt der Kupfertitel zu Teil 1. Zu Teil 2 erschien kein typographischer Titel (der Kupfertitel wird als S. 1/2 gezählt und ist fast ident mit jenem zu Teil 1). Die zu Teil 1 gehörigen 7 Bll.
