Ex-Library with the following library markings: (1) glue residue at the base of the dust jacket spine; (2) glue residue from tape on the top and bottom of the front and back boards of the book; (3) library stamp and discard stamp on the top-edge of the text block; (4) library stamp and discard stamp on the title page. NOTE: The front free endpaper is a cancel. The Text Block is clean, white, tight, straight and square with deckled fore-edges and no markings other than those described above. The Binding is full dark blue cloth, color faded at the top and bottom 1/16" and at front board and spine where light came through the dust jacket, with publisher's logo in bright gilt to the front board, bright gilt title, etc., to the spine, unmarked endpapers, corners square and sharp, and no markings other than those described above. The Dust Jacket would be fully intact except that the front flap is price clipped, and is bright, colors uniform throughout, with the exception of the glue residue at the base of the spine. This posthumously published book consists of a novella bearing the title name of the book, a series of short stories that had never appeared in book form previously, and a 37 page "Note on Thomas Wolfe" by Edward C.
