Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. First edition. [28]pp with illustrations by Wopo Hulup not included in later editions, author's name misspelled on front wrap "Ntosake." Bound in publisher's side-stapled pictorial red wraps. Near Fine with fading to spine and rear cover, light edge wear and faint creasing to corners. Modest soiling to wraps. The Tony-Award-nominated series of poetic monologues to be read aloud with music and dancing (choreopoems). Rare in its first printing by a small feminist press two years before the hardcover trade edition.
