Words (English & French translation by American lyricist Mitchell Parish (1900 - 1993); music by American musician , composer , songwriter & actor Hoagy Carmichael (1899 - 1981). Published by Mills Music Inc. in New York, New York in 1929. 5 -page SHEET MUSIC --- issued when it was customary to count the front cover as "Page 1", and the front cover verso as "Page 2". Soft cover/VG; strong with edge & surface rubs, PO Name, "Pat Phillips" to front cover. 1927 composition by Hoagy Carmichael; lyrics from Mitchel Parish added later. One of the most recorded of American popular songs further immortalized by Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman & Nat King Cole, and inducted 1995 into the Grammy Hall of Fame & added 2004 to the National Recording Registry. Copy includes French translation [Et puis le pour-pre de la nuit tomb-ante .] & ukulele chord charts. Charles Trenet, French singer (1913-2001) is known to have performed Stardust in French with ukulele.
