W 1902 przekazal atelier w Jeleniej Gorze synowi Hansowi (zaklad mial tez filie w Sobieszowie 1909-1910 i Szklarskiej Porebie latem 1888), ktory nadal sygnowal fotografie jaklo F. Pietschmann. W 1903 sprzedal zaklady w Kamiennej Gorze i Lubawce Feodorowi Böttcherowi i przeniosl sie do Görlitz na Krölstr. 15, gdzie prowadzil atelier oraz zalozyl wydawnictwo wydajace pocztowki powielajac swoje fotografie Slaska szczegolnie Karkonoszy.
