Two Octavo volumes (19cm); photographic paper-covered boards; dustjackets; [ii],206,[2]pp; [ii],206,[2]pp; colorful photographic illustrations throughout both volumes. Text in Japanese, with Scientific names and English names included for bird species. Both volumes have modest shelf-wear, with rubbing to paper of board edges, and trace foxing to edges of textblock; Very Good. Volume I dustwrapper has trivial surface wear; Very Good+. Volume II dustwrapper has trivial surface wear, with tiny tear to lower front flap fold; Very Good. Volume I explores over 90 species of terrestrial birds, each classified by their habitat.
