Red boards with black titles and illustration to front, titles in gilt and black illustration of character's face to spine, cream epps, b&w frontispiece with tissue paper guard, 212pp, four pages of advertisements to rear, 11 b&w sketches. Corners are bumped, edges worn, head and tail of spine, slightly worn, epps partially split along spine but covers are attached and secure, offsetting to epps, slight foxing to edges and throughout, signature of previous owner and date 1906 to front paste down in neat black ink . Overall, a very good copy of this scarce book.
