Yemelyan Mikhailovich Yaroslavsky (1878 - 1943) was a Russian revolutionary, communist party organizer, atheist and headed the Anti-Religious Committee of the Central Committee. That the publication of this volume dates well after Stalin's death, raises questions about post-mortem emendations and alterations. The unnamed author of Ot Izdatel'stva assures us "V osnovy nastorshchego izdaniya knigi . veato izanie 1938 g.
