Soft cover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. Homicidal Mania: A Biography; With Physiological and Medico-Legal Comments. By D. Yellowlees and printed in Edinburgh by Oliver and Boyd. 1862, 24 pp, 7.5 x 5", 8vo, disbound paper pamphlet. In as-is condition, with the text block split into several parts. Old hand inscription and pencil remnants on title page. Includes a foldout illustration in worn condition, having been stained in parts and separated from the text. General age-related toning to pages. Likely disbound from a larger volume. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce medical work on mental illness and homicidal tendencies by D. Yellowlees, an assistant physician at the Royal Edinburgh Asylum. A wonderful candidate for restoration or rebinding.
