Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Peter Van Dusen (illustrator). 1st Edition. Green cloth in good condition, no dust jacket. Front cover of the dust jacket has been glued into the book. It is inscribed to Dr. Sherman Wengerd by the author: "To Sherm Wengerd, with the good wishes of Walter Youngquist. It includes a note from Walt to Sherm: "Sherm, Thought you might perhaps want to put this in the book somewhere to show that the cover was authentic to a large extent. I sent the jacket designer a copy of the Kodachrome showing "home" on the Amazon. This print is made . . .that the original kodachrome too. --Walt." Back of dust jacket also laid.Also included is a typed letter dated October 1, 1982 from Youngquist to Dr. Sherman Wengerd. From the estate of Dr. Sherman Wengerd. Inscribed by author.
