A search of the Internet, of enrollment at Harvard University and of parish… records was as fruitless as earlier searches of historical societies, AMA archives and obituaries. The mystery of Alexander E. Youman, M. D.,remains. This modern introduction, index, and glossary is by Katie F. Hamilton and is dated 1999. Alexander E.
