Blue and white endpapers illustrating "The Route of the Pioneers." The paper of the spine is a bit torn, with the most prominent tearing at the foot. Illustrated by the author. The story of a little girl named Liza Jane and a rag doll named Betsy Buttons, and their trip across the sea to America, and into the Great Salt Lake Valley. Along the way they encounter Indians, bison and other pioneers.
