"Just ten short years later, he had not only personally supervised the construction of the Guild headquarters, located at 7950 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, but had also negotiated the merger between the SDG and the Radio and Television Directors Guild to form the Directors Guild of America." At the time the book was published in 1995, Mr. Youngerman was still serving the Guild, as the Executive Secretary/Treasurer of its Educational and Benevolent Foundation; he died later in the year.
