A wonderful example of late Soviet era childrens book illustration and an appealing addition to any collection of illustrated classics or Russian childrens literature. Both copies are in excellent condition. The covers show only very slight signs of use and gentle aging, with no rips or tears. The bindings are strong and sound. The interiors are clean and bright, with no marks, highlighting, rips, or tears. The illustrations remain vivid and striking throughout.
