4°. 100 S., 1 Bl. mit sehr zahlreichen, teils ganzseitigen bzw. farbigen Abbildungen und Photos. Farbig illustrierter Okart. Einband mit minimalen Gebrauchsspuren (keine Defekte!), sonst sehr gutes Exemplar. In italienischer Sprache. Ausgestellt wurden die Bühnenkostüme und private Garderobe des französischen Opernstars italienischer Herkunft (1885-1969). Zeppilli debütierte am Royal Opera House in London und erlebte zwischen 1906 und 1914 den Höhepunkt ihrer Karriere in den USA wo sie sehr populär wurde. Auch in Monte Carlo, wo ihr Vater Orchesterdirigent war, war sie sehr beliebt. Dort und in New York arbeitete sie nach ihrem Bühnenabschied als Gesangslehrerin. Zusammen mit ihrem Mann war sie eng mit Gabriele d'Annunzio befreundet. Sprache: it.
