Condition: MOLTO BUONO. NOTA:qualche macchietta ai margini bianchi. / cm.25x36, Lo Zocchi fu attivo nella seconda metà del XVIII secolo, Cosimo Zocchi è stato un Incisore al bulino. Era probabilmente fratello di Giuseppe Zocchi e fu allievo di Joseph Wagner. Incide i disegni di Antonio Terreni che illustrano la Raccolta dei disegni delle fabbriche regie de' bagni di Montecatini nella Valdinievole, opera iconografica di grande formato che accompagna il trattato di Alessandro Bicchierai edito nel 1787. Incisione non datata periodo '700.

Firmato in lastra: "Prete Zacinto Giusti pistoiese del. - Cosimo Zocchi scolpì". Ottimo esemplare, impresso su carta vergellata coeva. L'incisione fu utilizzata nell'opera: "Serie di ritratti d'uomini illustri toscani con gli elogj istorici dei medesimi [.]" Firenze, appresso Giuseppe Allegrini, 1766-1773 e reca una numerazione romana, manoscritta nel Settecento in alto a destra, sul margine bianco superiore.

Incisione proveniente dall'album "Raccolta completa delle più belle vedute e prospettive della città di Firenze", le cui incisioni furono, per la maggior parte, incise da Cosimo Zocchi. L'album, seppur di formato minore e meno "spettacolare" rispetto a quello di Giuseppe Zocchi, è senz'altro molto più raro. Una lieve brunitura generale, traccia di piega centrale, ma buone condizioni. Incorniciata entro cornice in legno, con vetro di protezione.
