SU. 93 Fotos, die Riboud zwischen 1953 und 1985 in Frankreich, England, Tschechien, Indien, Vietnam, China, Japan, Ghana, im Kongo und in der Türkei und in den USA aufnahm, darunter das berühmte, schwerelose "Painter of the Eiffel Tower", das auch den Umschlag ziert. Zunächst von Cartier-Bresson beeinflußt, den er Anfang der 1950er Jahre getroffen hatte, entwickelte er bald seinen eigenen Stil. Er trat der von Cartier-Bresson und Robert Capa gegründeten Fotoagentur "Magnum" bei und wurde viele Jahre später ihr Präsident. - Gutes, sauberes Exemplar.
