No Binding. Condition: Fine. Seven prospectuses, printed in Caslon in blue and black on handmade paper.Typed letter on Press letterhead, to E. Whitby & Son, The Library, Yeovil, Jan 24th, 1934, inviting them to subscribe. Original envelope with Press label. Envelope slightly soiled, all else fine. Announced as 'ready in April', this sumptuous edition seems to have never been published.

Printed in colours and sewn into decorated wrappers; also with (2) a broadside type specimen printed on thick handmade paper; (3) The Gentle Game of Bowls as played at the Green at Holly Pond (certificate for Walter Tracy); T.L.s and A.L.s from Jason Burke to Walter Tracy (addressed Chiswick, 1964). Attractive and in fine condition.

Soft cover. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. Pamphlets sewn into wrappers and in fine or near fine condition, the first two being inscribed by the author to Henry Warren. Together with ten Christmas cards, printed at Cambridge University Press for frank Kendon, 1937-1953, most with inscriptions to Henry Warren from Frank,& Celia, Alice & Adam, some with extensive verse holograph by Frank Kendon. Frank Samuel Herbert Kendon (September 12, 1893 - December 28, 1959) was an English writer, poet and academic. He was also an illustrator, and journalist. He was educated at St John's College, Cambridge, where he became a Fellow in 1948. He was a published poet in the 1920s and later a writer of stories and a novel. From 1935 to 1954 he worked for Cambridge University Press. At the beginning of World War II he was a campaigning pacifist. Kendon had a son named Adam Kendon, born 1934 in London.

Condition: Fine. First printing. Hardcover. Half-cloth and hand-marbled paper covers. Fine condition (no dust jacket-as issued). Limited edition of 300 copies, 150 in quarter-leather and 150 in cloth with marbled boards. This is #90 of the cloth copies, signed by Hamilton on the limitation page. Also, a presentation copy, signed again by Hamilton on the flyleaf.
