Loosely inserted is an autograph note from Morehouse to the Grossmans. The book also contains an invitation to Morehouse's memorial service with a personal inscription from Jere Knight (1907-1996) to the couple, an autograph note from Knight, and clippings of Morehouse's New York Times obituary. Knight acted as the personal representative for Cummings's estate after Morehouse's passing. Quarto. With 50 half-tone photographic illustrations by Marion Morehouse. Original black cloth, spine lettered in gilt, blue endpapers. With dust jacket. Grossman's shelf label on jacket front panel. Jacket unclipped, a little rubbed and nicked: a near-fine copy in very good jacket.
