There is a full page ad several page in which appears to possibly serve as a title page. The top one-half is missing. The bottom half says "By THE FLYING CLUB OF BALTIMORE and THE AIR CORPS, MARYLAND NATIONA…L GUARD." However, another full page present lists officers of the club, staff of the Maryland Nat'l Guard Air Corps, pilots, & the airport commission. Also,two leaves are detached & have been archivally reattached with minimal. but sufficient application. Notwithstanding, we still grade this as a good copy. The front cover has a lower corner crease (1") & there is a wrinkle at the top. This is really quite a remarkable program with portraits of important military people, ads, descriptions of competitive events: National Guard Race, Parachute Jump, Pursuit Race, Maneuverability Contest, Mixed Relay Race, Parachute Jump (2nd heat). There are short articles such as, "Where To, Aeronautics?", "Guardsmen in the Air." Air traffic rules are printed, as are requirements for various levels of certification. The ads of various aircraft companies, some showing an airplane, are striking. Last page is list of "Meteorlogical Stations" of the U. S. Weather Bureau in dozens of cities. One page is written with joke and humor, "None Such Flying Club Wishitwas, Kansas." There is a full page photo showing "The Gang listening to CAPT. HAROLD W. HINDS" with several pilots enjoying the moment. Full page portrait of Hon. Albert C. Ritchie, Executive Department, Annapolis, who wrote a full page welcome. This was the 8th annual aero show in Baltimore. The internet has good information on Logan Field, which went out of existence in or just after 1945. This is a rare aviation item. No copies appear in WorldCat or anywhere else I have looked.
