According to the short text at the bottom of the semi-translucent protective wrapping for this booklet: the Coloured Illustrations are the actual first printing of the 1887 Almanack. The Text for the Year 1925 is now inserted. (see images). The Almanac's textual descriptions derive from the works of S…hakespeare, Spenser and Herrick. Each month consists of the following format: colour illustrations,monthly days/dates, first quarter, full moon, last quarter, new moon. The final section focuses on the four seasons (see example image). Condition is basically sound - the main feature for both the covering sheet and the book is the level of tanning - see images. While there is clear tanning and occasional spotting, more obviously on the preliminary pages, most of the illustrations (and text) are largely unaffected. (The protective wrapping is missing a small amount of its material at the head of the spine. Unpaginated. 48mo.
