ESTC T89373, BL, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Oxford; McMaster, Rice, Lib Congress, Illinois, Penn, Texas, Virginia. Recorded as anonymous in ESTC, we have traced the printing of this poem in The Miscellaneous Works of Charles Collignon, Cambridge, 1786. He was a surgeon and Cambridge's professor of anatomy, who notably received a body for use in anatomy that turned out to be that of Laurence Sterne. This poem would have been written when he was 48 years old.
