Rare original 1896 children's book, "Should Auld Acquaintance be Forgot." The book is overall in very good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. The covers have some mild wear. There is some partial light cracking the rear interior hinge, but the binding is still good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age with some occasional light foxing. A few pages have some mild staining and a couple of leaves or so have a minor marginal chip or tear not affecting any text. The front fep has a period name inscription near the top edge. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, etc. The book measures approximately 7 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches and is 245 pages long with a few black and white illustrations. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
