Hardcover. Condition: Good. First thus. Octavo, 7 1/4" tall, vii + 386 pages; three-quarter calf over marbled boards. A good copy only, as is, exterior worn, front cover loose, spine leather chipping at edges, fore-corner tips through to boards, internally very good, binding solid, paper clean and lightly yellowed. Useful as is but his binding could be restored and is priced accordingly.

Robert of Gloucester was first mentioned by Stow, followed by Weever, Fuller, and Wood, who discovered that sufficient material indicated that such a person actually had existed and written the famed chronicle that bears his name.
