Einband berieben, die untere Ecke mit kleiner Fehlstelle, dadurch die ersten Seiten mit Knickspur; Fehlstelle auch am Buchrücken. Add to basketCondition: Good. First Edition. Extremely scarce volume on point lace in the famous Bibliothek D.M.C. Undated, but from around 1910. Original thin card covers with cloth spine, staple-bound. 76pp of text with 138 in-text illustrations + 10 full-page plates. the text is followed by 10 patterns of lace-design on linen. Edge-rubbing and creasing to flimsy covers but quite sound and internally clean. Just one of the patterns has been detached from the book, but it is also present and in excellent condition. Truly a rare book in such a complete state of preservation.
