Accompanied by a photograph of King at a book signing event, at Borders Books and Music, Oxford Street, London on 22 August 1998 - attendees can be seen carrying Borders bookshop bags with copies of the book displayed behind the author and on the signing table. King can be seen signing the current copy. Borders price sticker to the back panel of the dust jacket further confirms this provenance. Due to his immense popularity, the increasing value of signed items and King's refusal to sign books mailed in to him, his signature is often forged - the current copy, then, is particularly desirable with unusually good provenance confirming the authenticity of the signature. Very Good - Some tide marks to the head and tail of the lower board, jacket verso and front panel recto, mild rippling to the final 15 leaves, light shelfwear, minor chips to the foot of the spine. Original 157 page revised shooting script with color rewrite pages, dated from May 20, 2011 through July 20, 2011 for the television mini-series Bag of Bones, Part 1 & 2, by Matt Venne, based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King. This copy belonged to the noted actor William Schallert, and is signed by him on the front cover with his name and with the name of his character: Ò This is my personal shooting script, William Schallert ÔMax DevoreÕ.Ó Laid in are three color photos of William Schallert, one of which was taken on the set of the production and shows him in character, wearing a suit and tie and sitting in a wheelchair, accompanied by actress Deborah Grover who plays the character Rogette Whitmore. The other two photos show Mr. Schallert signing this shooting script. Bradbound. Fine copy in printed studio wrappers.
