Loosely inserted is the publisher's small two-colour pictorial flyer for other works by Wren (one side a little tanned). The third in the author's series about the Geste brothers, adapted for the film of the same name in 1931. Signed.

The second sequel to Beau Geste (1924), this novel served as the basis for the 1931 pre-Code adventure film starring Ralph Forbes, Loretta Young, Irene Rich, and Lester Vail. Octavo: 348 p. with The Song of the Legion at the rear. Original red cloth binding, with gilt titles. Just a hint of foxing, with some mild dust staining to the top edge; otherwise very good in a lightly shelfworn dust jacket with a bit of toning along the spine and folds.
