First edition, inscribed by the author opposite the title page, " To Harriet Sheppard regards from Sheilah Graham December 21st 1958". This work is Graham's bestselling biography of her three-year relationship with F. Scott Fitzgerald. The book was adapted into a film in 1959 starring Gregory Peck and Deborah Kerr. Octavo. With 8 half-tone plates. Original blue cloth with black linen overlaid on boards, spine lettered in green and black, illustrated endpapers. With dust jacket. Spine ends bumped, spine foot and tips a little rubbed, small mark to foot of front cover; jacket unclipped, 75 mm split to rear panel, old tape repair (itself now split), dampstaining to spine verso: a very good copy in just about very good jacket.
