Text in English with an introduction by A.M. Hammacher. Inscribed by the artist to the American art collector and gallerist Eleanor Block Saidenberg and her husband Daniel. Eleanor Saidenberg's NYC gallery was Picasso's primary U.S. representative from 1955-1973; the program also included Klee, Braque, Kandinsky, Gris, and Miro. Light bumping and soiling to extremities. He describes arranging to have a large photographic blow-up of the Relief No. 851 sent to Hartley and Margot. Discusses at length the Felicitas Vogler photograph reproduced in the Leinhard catalogue. A rough translation of part of an essay on Nicholson by Armin Kesser (not the Leinhard text). Signed by Author(s).
