A signed, first edition, copy of this interesting historical account of Bolshevism, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. A scarce first edition. In the publisher's full cloth binding with the original, unclipped, dust wrapper. Signed by the author to the front paste-down, dated 1931. With fourteen monochrome illustrations and a fold-out map of Russia. Collated complete. A detailed account of the Bolshevik Revolution and Bolshevik Russia, covering the whole ground of the Revolution, the early history of Bolshevism and the state of Russia in the 1930s. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light shelf wear and bumping to the spine. Author's ink signature to the front paste-down. Some light spotting and offsetting to the paste-downs and free endpapers. Two small tears to the front free endpaper. The original, unclipped dust wrapper is a trifle rubbed. Darkening to the edges and spine. Shelf wear and chipping to the extremities, with loss to the front panel. Pencil annotations to the rear panel. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with just the odd spot and some light age-toning to the edges. A few small tears to the front blanks. Some spotting to the fore-edge. Very Good. signed by author. book.
