Condition: Good. Manuscript note book; good condition, in rubbed marbled paper covered card wrappers with cloth spine; the binding is tight. Internally clean with neat entries in ink and coloured pencil on blue rules. Several pages excised. This notebook belonged to N J Delaney, a trainee artillery officer in World War I, who describes various British and German grenades by means of very well executed coloured drawings with accomplished technical explanations.
