The author paints a vivid picture of Venetian culture, revealing its complexities and contradictions through a series of witty and humorous observations. The text explores the dynamics between social classes, pokes fun at the vanity and frivolity of the aristocracy, and examines the challenges faced by those living in poverty. It also delves into the relationships between men and women, exposing the prejudices and double standards prevalent at the time. Ultimately, the book presents a multifaceted portrait of Venice, capturing its beauty, its absurdities, and the enduring spirit of its people. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. Belle, pulite, descritte e firmate dall'Artista. CADAUNO.
