A biography of May Watkins Burns, 1900-1992. May moved to John Slaughter's San Bernardino Ranch along the Mexican Border in Cochise County, Arizona as an infant in 1901, where her father worked as a cowboy. The family re-settled in Douglas around 1905, but May spent all her summers and many weekends on the Slaughter Ranch until the 1920s. Most of the book focuses on life, activities, and events at the ranch from 1900 to 1922. Numerous previously unpublished photographs are included. As new, unread copy.
