After his death in April 1916 most of his collection was left to his nephew Lieutenant R.A.L. Broadley who set about selling it, although this sale of his collection contains books, prints and artefacts mostly relating to his Napoleon collection, it would appear some items were not sold at the auction. It is also known that Lord Curzon purchased a great part of his collection of his Napoleon collection which he donated to Oxford University ( and now resides in the Bodelian Library), and possibly the unsold items were withdrawn before the auction for Lord Curzon?.Not the best copy, but rare to have some prices & buyers.
