The boards have fading and rubbing to the spine and there is yellowing along the right side of the front panel and to a lesser extent on the left side of the rear panel. Otherwise only light rubbing and bumping to the bottom corners and a little light surface marking. The page edges are a little browned with some scattered brown spotting to the fore edges. Original owner's name and date in pen on the front free endpaper. The pages are a little browned but are otherwise clean and unmarked. No jacket. First printing.

With dust jacket. Spine very slightly faded and rubbed, bubbling and white marks to endpapers, light spotting to edges. An excellent copy in the jacket that is a little rubbed at the extremities with a short closed tear to the head of the spine panel and a small chip from the upper panel.
