This film score composed by Jonathan Elias anchors the creeping malevolent atmosphere of the 1984 supernatural horror film based upon SK's 1977 short story. Directed by Fritz Kiersch, the film stars Peter Horton and Linda Hamilton as Vicky. Set in the fictitious rural town of Gatlin, Nebraska, the film tells the tale of an entity referred to as "He Who Walks Behind The Rows" which entices the children to ritually murder all adults to ensure a successful harvest. A couple, Burt and Vicky, driving cross-country become new targets in the children's sights From the author of Carrie, The Shining, 'Salem's Lot, The Dead Zone, The Stand and Christine comes an adult nightmare. King wrote the original draft of the screenplay, focusing on the characters of Burt and Vicky and depicting more backstory of the children's uprising in Gatlin.
