    Hardcover. Condition: Used - Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: None. Signed by author dated 1939. The book is undated but I believe this edition published in the late 1930's. Spine, binding and covers all fine with gilt titles on spine and front cover and beautiful illustration on front cover. Nice green robust boards. No other inscription and contents are clean throughout with light tanning on edges. 248 pages.

Flat signed by author to front free endpaper. Slight cracking to gutters with exposed netting, pages slightly loose. Pages and illustrations have light tanning and foxing throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing to spine ends. Wear marks overall.

Neat gift inscription on front endpaper from one 'Uncle Tom', otherwise very good indeed. Signedes.
