Condition: Good. 1940. Reprint. 422 pages. Dust jacket over red cloth. Clean pages with mild tanning and foxing throughout, notable to endpapers. Tightly bound with faint thumb-marking throughout. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Mild tanning to spine and board edges. Mild crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears, and creasing. Heavy tanning and water stains to spine. Moderate rubbing and marking all over.

Binding has remained firm. Boards have slight shelf wear with bumping to corners. Spine ends are a little crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Boards are slightly bowed. Slight forward lean to text block. Light wear to clipped dust jacket with tears, nicks and creases to spine, edge and corners. Light tanning to spine and edges.

Early reprint, in very good condition, red cloth boards, stamped lettering on spine. Former owner's name and address on front free endpaper. No dustjacket. (Book ref 5172).
