This is one of a series of Prang chromolithographs used in Our Living World: An Artistic Edition of the Rev. J.G. Wood's Natural History of Animate Creation (New York: Selma Hess, 1885). As here, the publisher also issued the plates separately, tipped onto captioned sheets. In Near Fine- Condition: upper right-hand corner of mat is slightly creased; clean and bright.
