Printed in an edition of 150 but this one marked as a presentation copy. Presumed to be fine copy and in an attractive frame with glass. Signed by Fowles. (Not examined out of the frame.) Condition: Fine. First Edition. First Edition. Original dark green wrappers, printed in black, in fine condition, protected by an acetate cover. This scarce issue contains the first appearance of the poem "Conditional" by John Fowles, later printed as a broadside by the Lord John Press. Laid in is a xerox copy of the poem, as it appears in this periodical, with 3 corrections and a date in John Fowles' hand (xeroxed as well). Though other issues sometimes appear on the market, this number 2 with the Fowles' contribution has rarely appeared on the market. Scarce and desirable.

Just a bit of very light creasing, still fine. Copy 54 of 150 numbered copies Signed by Fowles. A nicely produced broadside of a poem written by by one of the famous "Johns" after which the press is named.
