This 11-volume roman fleuve probably constitutes Snow's chief contribution to English letters, his critical writings notwithstanding. Together 11 works, octavo. Attractively bound in recent dark blue morocco, titles and decoration to spines gilt, raised bands, single rule to boards gilt, marbled endpapers, gilt edges. The occasional minor blemish, an excellent set.
