It shows rubbing and bruising at the ends.There is a small circular area of the spine where the surface paper has come off ( label removal ? ). This affects the Herbert Jenkins lettering. The back panel is sound, showing light soiling as well as bruising and light wear to the upper and lower edges. Looks solid in protective plastic. THE BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are bright and very clean. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean - the endpapers are browned. The closed page edges are foxed. No dog-eared pages.
