Hardcover. Condition: Good -. Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket As Issued. First British Edition. Daring Deeds of Hunters & Trappers, True Stories of the Bravery & Resource of Trappers & Hunters in All Parts of the World was written by Ernest Young. It's also illustrated with color plates throughout . . . with one problem. The book was published by Seeley, Service & Co., Limited in 1917 and appears to be a First Edition though it's not specifically stated as such. It's not an ex-library copy BUT it's only in good - condition. Good condition because of the wear, the yellowing pages, a small tear at the top of the spine, and a brittle spine. The "minus" is because a previous owner removed many of the illustrations by tearing them out . . . then laid them back in where they were supposed to be. They ARE still there, but they're loose from the spine. Despite the condition this is still a neat book and would make a very unique gift for any hunter or trapper, there are precious few of them still left out there, and . . . a look at how it was done a hundred years ago! Thank you!
